WEISU在二手注射机器中驱动标准化
The second-hand injection molding machine market has long been criticized for irregular refurbishment, opaque parameters, and unreliable after-sales service. Dongguan Fenggang Weisu Injection Molding Machinery Factory (“Weisu”), however, has set a benchmark in the industry through technical standardization and refined services. Recently, the company announced that its self-developed “Refurbishment Technical Standards for Second-Hand Injection Molding Machines” has been in effect for eight years. Through 12 rigorous inspection processes, every machine leaving the factory meets strict quality standards, promoting industry-wide standardization.
Technical standardization is the core competency of Weisu. From its early days, the core team leveraged over a decade of OEM repair experience to build a solid technical foundation. In 2014, Weisu introduced advanced testing equipment such as clamp force testers, improving refurbishment precision from 80% to over 90% of new machines. By 2016, the Refurbishment Technical Standards were formally issued, specifying that recycled machines must meet selection criteria of “≤8 years of age, no severe damage to core components.” The refurbishment process covers disassembly, cleaning, component replacement, circuit modification, and exterior painting, with professional inspections at every stage to ensure stable performance.
To meet the personalized needs of different industries, Weisu launched customized refurbishment services. Since 2018, machines can be upgraded according to customer requirements for injection precision and production speed, including high-speed screw replacements and servo system upgrades, suitable for manufacturing electronic components, daily necessities, and other sectors. This “standardized foundation + customized upgrade” model ensures quality while precisely matching production scenarios.
Alongside technological upgrades, Weisu has continuously enhanced its service system. From the 2013 “3-month warranty,” to the 2014 “6-month warranty + lifetime maintenance guidance,” and now “online real-time monitoring + rapid offline response,” its service guarantees have steadily improved. The online display platform launched in 2021 further breaks information barriers, allowing clients to track refurbishment and testing progress in real time, effectively solving the industry’s “information asymmetry” problem.
Today, Weisu refurbishes and sells over 800 machines annually, with a factory covering 4,500㎡ and operations spanning domestic and international markets. “By setting standards through technology and earning trust through service, we aim to help the second-hand injection molding machine industry shed its ‘low-end, rough’ image,” said a company representative. Weisu’s practices demonstrate that even the second-hand equipment sector can achieve high-quality development through technology empowerment and service upgrades.
